Abstract The crystal structures of three “cyclodiene” analogues, homoendrin (1), homoisodrin (2), and homoisodrin acetate (3), have been determined by X-ray diffraction. The structures found for 1 and 2 confirm those previously proposed but homoisodrin acetate (3) is different with respect to the point of attachment of the acetate group. Comparative structural features are also presented for the cyclodiene series.
