Abstract/Summary The Photographs, 1909-1914 album contains 104 photographs including views of Brisbane, Cairns, Magnetic Island, Mount Tambourine, Port Moresby, Singapore, Thursday Island, Townsville, India, Redland Bay and Magnetic Island. Photograph album belonging to the Tarn/Spowers family. Nancy Holmes Tarn (nee Gore) retrieved the album from beneath the Spowers family home 'Tivoli' at Corinda, Brisbane. The album may have belonged to Nancy's parents, Amy Gladys (nee Spowers) and Cyril Gerard Gore (of Yandilla). In 1911 there were married in Brisbane and moved to Assam, India, where Cyril and his brother were tea planters.
