Project description
This project examines the clinical and dermoscopic features of acquired melanocytic nevi (AMN), pigmentation characteristics and MC1R genotypes in a Han Chinese population in Henan, central China. AMN are known risk factors and sometimes precursors of melanoma, but to date have been studied mostly in Caucasian populations. Here we present a population of 115 Han Chinese from Henan, central China, with all AMN documented with digital dermoscopy, pigmentation characteristics, and MC1R genotypes.
