Abstract/Summary The separate effects of size dependent growth and size dispersion can be evaluated from batch crystallization tests using seeds with a bimodal size distribution. Size dependency of growth is evaluated from the separation of the means of each peak, and size dispersion by the spreading of the peaks. Results are given for sucrose and potash alum.
