Abstract The following new species are described and figured: Squilla granti from Moreton Bay, Queensland; S. terrareginensis from north Queensland; and S. mcneilli from deep water off the New South Wales coast. Justifications are given for the elevation of S. scorpio var. immaculata Kemp 1913 to specific rank.
