Abstract Using micro strip antenna theory and an approximate model for an IMP ATT diode, a theoretical analysis is carried out to determine variation in oscillator output power with diode contact point, for a bias-pin resonator circuit. The results compare favorably with experimental values previously published and indicate that, under some conditions, oscillator power output may be increased through use of an offCenter diode contact point.
