Formatted Abstract/Summary
This book was written to raise awareness of the difficulties confronting adults with Asperger Syndrome. It is based on Garry Burge's personal experience of having Asperger Syndrome and his struggles as he passed through secondary school and into employment.

Despite being bullied, misunderstood. and written off as an academic failure, Garry has overcome his personal difficulties. He is now successfully employed in the University of Queensland Library and is always keen to promote and raise awareness of Asperger Syndrome. Garry has spoken along with Dr Tony Attwood in some employment seminars organised by Asperger Services Australia.

Garry is a great example of what an adult with Asperger Syndrome can achieve. He has completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree, travelled extensively and is always interested to know more about the world around him. As an adult, Garry continues to strive to fulfill his own potential and to help other struggling "Aspies".
