Abstract A successful method has been demonstrated for the synthesis of a mesoporous organic-inorganic nanohybrid using amine functionalized polyhedral oligomericsilsesquioxane (POSS) and pluronic polymer as a silica precursor and structure directing agent, respectively. The results confirmed the presence of porous structure, along with the high surface area and uniform pore size distribution which can be utilized for various applications namely catalysis, drug-delivery, etc.
