Abstract Multilayer coatings of colloidal particle substrates formed entirely from block copolymer micelles are demonstrated. Such multilayer coatings provide a highly functional organized coating that may have application across a wide range of technology areas, and provide a coating mechanism for controlled loading and release of active materials.
