In the last 10 years, the growth of car population has increased many folds. In today’s context, many owners of vehicle would like to have a quick car wash, rather than spending a whole day washing their own vehicle, nor waiting at the car service centre. The aim of the project is to prepare a commercial proposal for building an automatic car drive-through washing machine to be built next to an existing petrol station. It is an existing land under freehold with no alternative usage. Also, an appropriate business plan is to be prepared to guarantee profits in a period of time.

The area of interest of this topic would be how the car washing machine is designed.  It is specified that a non-contact wash be used to minimize damage to the vehicles. A touch-less wash system design is chosen to attain the requirement. This wash system uses a combination of detergent and high pressure to remove the dirt from vehicles without any cloth or brush contact virtually eliminating the risk of paint damage.

The automatic car washing machine has been an area of research because investing in car wash makes an excellent business opportunity. While many businesses may produce profits, the car wash business will bring profits much more pleasurably. The car wash industry is unique in the way it offers high income potential by allowing for low labour and inventory costs.

Although automatic car wash system exists in most modern countries, vehicle owners’ satisfactions on cleaner and faster washes are boosting. The car washing machine is to be built with durable construction, simplicity and user friendly. Also, an investigation of the feasibility of water reclamation is included. The treatment and process of waste water for car wash industrial is necessary, as the amount of fresh water usage is usually high, and this could effectively lower the cost of operation.
