Additional Notes This Time-Frequency toolbox was first released publicly in 1987 during the first ISSPA conference held in Brisbane, Australia. It is based on the original work of B. Boashash initiated in the late 70s and early 80s with subsequent contributions from his PhD students. The toolbox has been continuously refined and improved since them and updates released on a regular basis. The first free version was released in May 2010 and included selected recent important updates in the field. It is the companion of the 2003 Elsevier book on "Time-Frequency Signal Analysis and Processing" and the 1992 IEEE Proceedings article on "Algorithms for Instantaneous Frequency Estimation".
