Formatted abstract
A method of amplifying a signal with any polarization using an active microstrip patch reflectarray is presented. A 12-element X-band polarization-independent reflection amplifier is then developed to demonstrate the operation of this type of array. Gain, axial ration, and radiation patterns for this array are presented.
