Abstract/Summary The aim of this research was to identify the corporate social responsibility health initiatives used by leading mining, oil and gas companies in their operations in developing countries (2001-2011). Further, to collect developing countries’ mining-related health governance. A review of the resulting catalogues of preferred practice and governance will provide evidence to distinguish the strategic approaches used by corporate organisations and governments to address the considerable challenges associated with protecting and enhancing the health and well-being of communities in developing countries.
