The collection was assembled by Dr Peter Cahill, from material donated by members of the Papua New Guinea Association of Australia.

Box 9, Folder 5, Photographs were donated by Josie Wallenius. The folder include photographs of her parents Don and Kath Honeysett in Mandated Territory of New Guinea, where Don was an employee of Bulolo Gold Dredging Ltd. Parcel 3 consists of 10 photographs labelled as General and cover the period 1929-1932 approximately.
Handwritten text on back of photograph reads 'Manam boys (note the height of the palms) / Remember these are tiny sing-sings; got together by the various few representatives of tribes, in Rabaul'.
