The album is inscribed inside with "C. Hurworth, Richmond, Bowen Hills, '93 Floods." Mr Christopher Hurworth (1834–1898), resided in his family home "Richmond" on the corner of William and George Streets, Bowen Hills. He was a former Head Master of Boys' State School, Fortitude Valley.
