Weather Model Output
The models are part of research being done under a 3-year ARC Linkage grant jointly held with the School of Economics. The data is relevant to wind farm energy providers, as well as to climate researchers more generally.
This data encompasses two years’ worth of wind speed and direction data for 35 domains within Australia. The weather model data is used to create input to economic models that predict wind energy contributions to Australia’s renewable energy targets.
