Formatted Abstract/Summary
In this workshop we focus on one of the most essential problems that clients face–anxiety. We follow the pathway of how the brain becomes anxious–from the changes in neurochemicals as well as the way neural structures form strong “loops” and how clients get trapped in being anxious. We discuss the benefits but also the limitations of medication to treat anxiety and how to assist clients to change their brains and live more fulfilling lives. Practical examples will be provided.
