Invisible Me is a collaboration between QPAC and Southern Cross Soloists based on Wendy Binks's award-winning and hugely popular story book. With an original score of Joseph Twist, the musicians and dancer follow the adventures of Stripey, a baby Emu, as he searches for his place in the vast Australian bush. Renowned chamber ensemble the Southern Cross Soloists blend narration and music in an interactive exploration of a land filled with strange and wonderful animals. This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body. A QPAC and Southern Cross Soloists production commissioned for Out of the Box 2012. This concert runs for approximately 40 minutes without interval and is appropriate for children age 4 and older.
