This article comments on the observations by Campbell JA concerning the postal acceptance rule in the recent case of Wardle v Agricultural and Rural Finance Pty Ltd. It argues that the judge’s treatment of the leading postal acceptance cases is in several respects inaccurate, incomplete or otherwise unconvincing.
