Following a study of all available material from existing collections of decapod Crustacea from the Crustaceous (Aptian-Albian) of Queensland, two genera and six species are recognised as new, and redescriptions of four known species are offered.

Tho group is shown to be of little value for stratigraphic correlation.  Some contributions to the study of the comparative morphology of the group are made and the phylogenetic significance of the development of various structures is discussed. Several of the forms, the remains of which are in the form of autochthonous moults, provide information on local environmental conditions.
