Maps of at least 20 individual census variables now exist for all the major urban areas of Australia due to the work of the Division of National Mapping. Certain cities are examined in far more detail in university-produced publications. In contrast to the NATMAP series, these atlases feature much diversity and may be of lesser technical quality. All the atlases reviewed seem to reflect some uncertainty about their intended purpose or market...
