Additional Notes In the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) 2010 conference resolutions was a call for a Middle East Weapons of Mass Destruction Conference in 2012. The government of Finland volunteered to host it but sadly it never took place. Before it was cancelled though civil society organisations had already organised a fringe conference to accompany the event and remind the diplomats that the world was watching their actions. Despite the cancellation of the main conference the fringe event took place.
