Abstract Over the course of the last quarter century John Martin Fischer has had a major role in reshaping much of the contemporary discussion about the relation between determinism and moral responsibility. In ‘‘My Way’’ he collects and adds to some of his more recent work on the subject—refining his view somewhat and extending it to deal with objections. It is subtle and important work. I propose to take up only one strand in it—Prof. Fischer’s discussion of reasons responsiveness.
