SUMMARY

This thesis presents the results of the studios of specific aspects of the sampling and valuation of mineral accumulations, and is concerned primarily with the new technique of drilling sampling and assaying. A secondary objective of the study was to determine the effect of various methods on results obtained from the valuation of the mineral deposits.

The studies were confined to the beach sand deposits, because the results will have no noticeable difference from those obtained from the alluvial deposits.
