Centre for Social Responsibility in Mining (CSRM) research fellow, Vladimir Pacheco spent one week in Bolivia as part of his research project comparing the effectiveness and governance structures of community foundations established by mining companies. Vladimir interviewed senior staff of the, Bolivian-owned EM I RSA mining company which operates gold mines near the historic town of Oruro. He shares his findings below.
