Abstract/Summary Farmers in eastern Indonesia are growing more protein-rich pulses and gaining financial benefits through partnerships with agricultural researchers and the private sector. In a win-win situation, Kingaroy-based Dr Rao C N Rachaputi of the Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation has been helping growers of peanut, soybean and mungbean in Lombok and West Timor provinces, and also in Queensland.
