Formatted Abstract/Summary
Choral composition setting a poem by Bronwyn Lea.

Choral piece setting the poem of the same title by Bronwyn Lea. The poem expresses the uncertainty that accompanies the courage involved in entering a new relationship. The music is highly energised, with driving rhythms, clapping and South Indian influenced spoken drum syllables, accompanying soaring long-note melodies.

Commissioned by The Australian Voices for their fifteenth anniversary season.
