Designer Feduchi, Luis
Project name Caravaca Vera Cruz Museum
Project description The transformation of a cloister building within the Caravaca castle into a museum of sacred art was achieved by the introduction of a wooden structure designed to reinforce the bearing walls and at the same time to hang the exhibits and lighting features. This was achieved without touching neither the historical wood coffered ceiling nor the ceramic pavement. As part of this new wooden structure a new staircase was introduced in order to allow the visitor to link the different periods of construction that the building assembles.
