This concert was a collaboration between two well known Australian chamber music ensembles, the Grainger Quartet and Synergy Percussion. Focusing mainly on Australian compositions, it also included an arrangement of Stockhausen's Tierkreis (Zodiac) by Grainger Quartet's James Cuddeford. Many challenges of a musical and logistical nature had to be solved in the execution of this collaboration, as string quartets and percussion emsembles are rarely required inhabit the same sonic and physical space.
