Glucosinolates are dietary natural products with important cancer chemoprevention properties. The syntheses of a number of stable isotopically labelled (2H, 13C) glucosinolates, and their desulfo-analogues, are described. These compounds are used as internal standards for analysis and for metabolic studies.
