Abstract Covalently cross-linked homodimeric Aβpeptides have been prepared by solid-phase peptide synthesis by exploiting ‘site–site interactions’, and exhibit substantially increased oligomerisation and fibrillisation properties compared with the corresponding monomers. © Royal Society of Chemistry 2011
