Formatted Abstract/Summary
Proceedings of the Macropod Symposium, 2006. This major symposium on macropods (kangaroos, wallabies and rat-kangaroos) brought together the many recent advances in the biology of this diverse group of marsupials, including research on some of the much neglected macropods such as the Antilopine wallaroo, the Swamp wallaby and Tree kangaroos.

A total of 78 authors have contributed 32 chapters to this book, which covers the proceedings of the symposium under the themes: genetics, reproduction and development; morphology and physiology; ecology; and management. Covers the new developments in macropod biology, including genomics, landscape ecology, endangered species and fertility control.
