Business planning has been a topic of study for decades. The small business sub-set has been focus of separate study for just the last decade. Numerous planning concepts, models and methods have evolved in search of the reason for, and the obviation of, the high failure rate amongst this significant employer of our Queensland workforce.

This study has been conducted to determine the existing planning methods that best assist the small business venture assess the viability of his proposed enterprise.
