This study looks at some of the manpower problems facing foreign companies in Indonesia.
The first part of the study is a review of the literature on manpower issues that foreign companies have to consider, the problem areas, and the solutions to some of these problems.
The second part describes the questionnaire survey that was undertaken. The findings from the survey detail the manpower problems that foreign companies in Indonesia face and how they handle these problems. It also identifies the nature and extent of training programmes that these companies conduct.
The last part summarizes the findings and relates it to the literature. In addition, several recommendations are made to help these companies solve their manpower problems.
