Recorded January 2010, Nickson Room, School of Music, University of Queensland. This CD gives a brief overview of piano music by six Australian women composers over the past 70 years. Forgotten composers are -rediscovered and new works by well-known composers are brought to life. Great variety of styles from the late-Romantic, elegant French, jazz-influenced and distinctly quirky are melded into unique Australian sound.
