Abstract/Summary Moral Issues in Business has four main objectives: to expose students to the important moral issues that arise in business contexts; to provide students with an understanding of the moral, social and economic environments within which those problems occur; to introduce students to the ethical concepts that are relevant for resolving those moral problems; and to assist them in developing the necessary reasoning and analytical skills for doing so. This text strikes a good balance between theory, discussion and cases and covers a wide range of issues well. As the book's approach is not overly philosophical, business students are able to relate to the material and the manner in which it is written.
