Abstract/Summary This seminar will discuss the most cited definition of (central) auditory processing disorder ((C)APD), that of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (2005). With this definition in place, the rest of the seminar will review one of the more popular (C)APD assessment, rehabilitation and management models currently in use around the world - the Bellis/Ferre model. Whilst the theory behind the model will be discussed, the seminar will concentrate mostly on the hands-on application of the model, including practical exercises on the assessment, rehabilitation and management tools used.
