Abstract/Summary Professor Charles Schindler was a foundation student of The University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in 1915 and a Masters of Arts in 1918. Professor Schindler was a lecturer in the Department of French from 1915-1948, as well as holding the position of Associate Professor of Modern Languages in 1947. This photograph was taken at the time of his retirement in 1948.
