Abstract/Summary This map shows the occupants and land usage of St. Lucia from first European contact in 1823 to 1933 just prior to development of the site by The University of Queensland. The information was compiled by avid historian Associate Professor Frederick Walter Robinson, who was involved with the foundation of the Fryer Library 1927; chaired the Committee of the Oxley Memorial Library from 1948 until 1967; and energetically collected material for both libraries. [Information obtained from the unpublished 'Honour Names Booklet' produced by Media and Information Services, 1985]
