Abstract/Summary The Rainbow Houses project translates environmental, social and spatial qualities demonstrated in an earlier single-family house to a compact infill-housing model with high comfort and amenity. The three-bedroom townhouse seeks to occupy a niche between traditionally low-density family housing and higher density apartment living suitable for the warm, humid subtropics.
