With more and more evidence being available on both neuromuscular and musculofascial damage occurring after vaginal childbirth, it is very important that obstetricians at least address the musculofascial side of it (partly), by identifying and properly repairing the EAS and/or IAS with proper after care. We keenly await the randomised trial proposed by the authors.
