Formatted abstract
The emphasis of this book is revealed by the title, with the positioning of learning leading rather than following a focus on teaching. The book's three ambitious but largely achieved aims are: (a) to gather the research and implications of research on topics that influence the learning and teaching of physical education; (b) to provide a relatively new insight into recent research findings on students' learning; and (c) to provide some suggestions for future research in the area of learning and teaching in physical education.
