Abstract/Summary Construction of the Brisbane City Hall showing scaffolding, cars and cranes. Bertha Mobsby was the daughter of photographer Henry William Mobsby. She was one of Queensland's early female photographers and cinematographers. In this photograph album, each photograph has a handwritten caption giving the date. First photograph shows initial stages of construction (February 1925). Final photograph shows completed building (April 1930).This photo album forms part of: Daphne Mayo manuscript collection, UQFL119 which is held in the Fryer Library. Daphne Mayo, sculptor, created the tympanum and Concert Hall frieze for the Brisbane City Hall (1927-1930)
