Abstract/Summary Much of the material listed in this bibliography is in an ephemeral format; the leaflets, posters and handouts prepared by organisations to promote a cause. It is a potentially useful source for the writing of political and social history. One of the reasons for this bibliography is to bring this Fryer collection to the notice of researchers. Many of the organizations listed emerged around a specific issue and remained in existence only until that issue had been resolved or gone out of fashion. Often their names were not formally established and were subject to variation. Greg George's historical notes do a great deal to sort out the resulting confusion.
