Abstract Recent results indicate that 'regulators of G-protein signalling' may contribute to the generation of receptor-specific patterns of cytosolic Ca2+ oscillations by associating with specific receptors, accelerating G-protein inactivation and responding to changes in cytosolic Ca2+.
